ONE can only wonder how the name ever got through, but a galloper called Bloody Quick proved to be just that in the 1100-metre maiden plate at Toowoomba on Saturday night.
The three-year-old colt was on debut. But was it more a case of his rivals being bloody slow, because in a 1085m barrier trial at Gatton on December 14 the same colt had finished last, beaten more than 20 lengths.
